Cloughduv School enjoyed their own Strictly Come Dancing where children displayed their moves.
There was a wide variety of styles with individual and group acts.It made a tough job for the judges, in both the older and younger categories.

Some interesting boxes arrived at school recently. When the children opened them, they were delighted to find the new sturdy outdoor toys purchased by the Parents’ Association. Thanks to Shirley & Co for their help with the fundraising. These toys will provide lots of exciting times on the yard!

The Junior Entrepreneur Programme was taken on by 6th class. In teams, they designed products that the class could make and sell. They researched cost and feasibility of production. They presented their ideas the the ‘dragons’ who declared the water bottle design to be a winner. Congratulations to all of 6th. Next, the whole class will work as a company to produce this design. The project nurtures creativity, independence and problem-solving among pupils.
