It’s the final countdown and we got to celebrate our Spectacular Sixth Class again! We were lucky with the lovely weather and so the whole school headed outside to cheer and applaud our Sixth Class. Each pupil received a certificate and their yearbook, which is jam-packed with both memories and plans as they transition to the next stage of their education. Thank you Mr. O’ Callaghan for the wonderful yearbooks! Sixth Class then enjoyed a film and a pizza for their afternoon before tomorrow’s Sixth Class Sports Day.

Our Spectacular Sixth Class are coming to the end of their primary school journey, and we have begun our celebrations to mark this important time for them. Unfortunately, Covid has meant that we have needed to adapt how we commemorate this wonderful class, but it won’t stop the Cloughduv NS community from celebrating them! Our first function was a party in the Halla where the Sixth class pupils wore their fashionable hoodies, which the pupils fundraised for by doing a socially distanced community clean up, all part and parcel of a class that is so active in their community. A ceremony and dancing were followed by a picnic outside, and we can’t wait to continue with the next part of celebrating Sixth Class!
