Mrs. Clancy’s class benefitted from some recent hurling coaching.  This was organised by the Cloughduv GAA club in conjunction with the County Board GDA (Games Development Administrator) for Mid-Cork. Parent Marie Mc Carthy and some transition year students ably assisted with this coachng.

Ms.Spillane’s class also availed of this coaching.

A tag-rugby blitz was held in Bandon Rugby Club on Tuesday 4th April.  Children were invited from all the schools where  Garret, Bandon’s guest rugby player from New Zealand, had introduced children to the game of rugby over the past few months.

The emphasis on the day was on fun and participation.  There are plenty of smiling faces in our photo above!

Every child received a medal at the end of the day.

A big thank you to the parents who transported children to and from Bandon Rugby Club.  Travelling to events like this would not be possible without the wonderful support we get from parents whenever we look for spins.  Míle buíochas arís.
