The budding Albert Einsteins and Marie Curies of the future enjoyed conducting a wide variety of experiments during this year’s Science Week! Throughout the school volcanoes were erupting and balloons were blown up using baking soda. The effect of soap on pepper ‘germs’ was observed and white flowers were changing colours; perhaps a useful future experiment for Mother’s Day! Students showed the sky was the limit when they made rockets from balloons and string and even created their own rainbows from Skittles and hot water. !
