Friendship Week

Friendship Week was celebrated from 9th – 13th May.

There were lots of different activities planned during the week. All classes explore the qualities of good friends. Each child designed their own fish to add to our Friendship Wall.

The Junior & Senior Infants made Friendship Headbands.

The Senior Classes learned how to make Friendship bracelets.

On Tuesday, the Infants brought in their favourite books and the 3rd & 4th Class pupils read to them in the yard.

On Friday, we all enjoyed a dance along to friendship songs with Tara and The Student Council.

A big thank you to Mr. O’ Callaghan and 5th & 6th Class for designing and organising the obstacle course. All the children were divided into mixed class groups and the older children helped and guided the Infants through the course.

Over the last number of weeks, Ms. Linehan has been teaching Spanish to 3rd & 4th Class. After their final class today, they shared a Paella dish which they prepared together. There was a delicious smell of fresh spices wafting through the school making everyone hungry.
